Went for my weekly appointment yesterday and ended up in labor and delivery for a couple hours. Long story short...my amniotic fluid level is lower than it should be. So I am on bed rest for now. I can only go up and down the stairs once a day and have to lay down. Not that easy to do! I have to go in on Monday for another non-stress test and an amniotic fluid index test. And then the doctor will decide what the next step will be..continue bed rest, induce, etc. I am 38 weeks on Monday so it would be okay if he was born now which is comforting to know. His heart beat is strong and he is doing well despite the low fluid. So Em may share a birthday with her brother after all!
