This past week Emily had Hand Foot and Mouth Disease and was cutting her 3rd eye tooth. Poor baby! She is on the mend now and her tooth is through! She is back to her normal self again. We have never seen her in so much pain. The sores that developed in her mouth from the HFM were pretty bad and she didn't eat much for a few days. She also has quite a few blisters still on her feet. The only thing we could do for her was give her Tylenol...there is no medication for HFM it just has to run its course since it is a virus. Tim was a great Daddy and watched her on the day it was the worst because I was at my brother's graduation from the Fire Academy.
Emily will be 17 months in a couple days. This past month she has begun to talk ALOT. It seems like she has a new word everyday. She has also started to tell us when she has to go "poo poo." Both Tim and I didn't believe her when she told us the first time. Then sure enough she did her thing...we were amazed! Emily has also become quite the climber and jumper. She will climb up on just about everything and give you the biggest grin because she knows she shouldn't be doing it. Little Stinker!
